It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 28th August 2018, of Mrs Annastatia (Statia) McCarthy (née Dee), Knockanpierce, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kilrush, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs McCarthy passed away peacefully while in the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh Manor Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy, son P.J. and grandson James Tarrent, her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family, Anne, Maria, Liam, Seamus, Bernie, Patricia, Gerard, Michael, Paul and Valerie; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Bernie Rigney; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs McCarthy will lie in repose at Keller’s Funeral Home, Borrisokane Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary on Thursday 30th August, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive on Friday to the Church of St. Mary of The Rosary, St Flannan St, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, for Funeral Mass at 1.00pm.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in Lisboney Cemetery, Nenagh.
