Death Of Fr. Sean Kealy C.S.Sp. Late Of Thurles, Co Tipperary

It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 11th July 2018, of Fr. Sean Kealy C.S.Sp, (Missionary in Kenya and member of staff of Duquesne University, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, United States) Kimmage Manor, Co. Dublin and late of Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Fr. Kealy, a past President of Blackrock College and author of several books on the scriptures, passed away peacefully while in the loving care of family and the Marian House community.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Kealy; his passing is most deeply regretted by his sisters Kathleen and Mary; brother Donal; nieces; nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews from the Purcell, Kealy and Dunne families and his Spiritan (Holy Ghost Father and member of the Congregation of the Holy Ghost and of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a Roman Catholic society of men founded in 1703 at Paris, by Claude-François Poullart des Places.) confrères.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Fr. Kealy, will lie in repose at Kimmage Manor Mission House, from 3.00pm on tomorrow afternoon, Friday 13th July.  Prayers at 4.00pm. Prayers in the Mission House on Saturday morning, 14th July, at 9.30am, followed by removal to Kimmage Manor Church Whitehall Road, Kimmage, Dublin, [D12 WP44] for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am.

Interment immediately afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery, Dublin.
