It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 4th November 2017, of Mr Eugene Doherty, Loughkent West, New Inn, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Fertiana, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Doherty passed away peacefully while in the care of the Hospital of the Assumption here in Thurles.
Son of the late Sean and Breda Doherty; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving brother Gerard; sister-in-law Judy; nephews Ryan and Sean; aunts Nancy Ryan and Philomena Doherty; cousins; extended family and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Doherty will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Monday, from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to Holycross Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Ballintemple Cemetery, Dundrum.
