It was with great sadness we learned of the death today, Wednesday 18th October 2017, of Mrs Nora (Norrie) Kirwan (née Treacy) ‘The Bungalow’, Moycarkey, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny.
Predeceased by her husband Paddy; brother Mike and sister Mamie; Mrs Kirwan passed away peacefully while in the care of the staff of the Regional Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her family, Tom (Johnstown); John, Esther and Mary Gleeson (Killinan), grandchildren Bríd, Shelly, Padraig, Eoin, Ciaran and Ciara; sister Sarah McLoughlin; daughters in law Margaret and Lorraine; son-in-law Conor; sister-in-law Mary Treacy; nephews; nieces; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Kirwan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Thursday, 19th October, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, to arrive at St. Peter’s Church, Moycarkey at 8.30pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Friday morning, October 20th, at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
