It was with great sadness we learned of the death today, Tuesday 8th August 2017, of Mrs Mary Slattery (née Nolan), Coumnagella, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Bolingbroke, Dolla, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Slattery passed away while in the wonderful care of the staff at Nenagh Manor Nursing Home; surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel and predeceased by her daughter Mary-Theresa and brothers Christy and Eamon; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving sons; Donal, Michael (Kilmeena, Westport), John and Joseph; her daughters Bridget Ryan (Holycross/Ballycahill, Thurles) and Josephine Campion (Rathdowney); and her brother John Joe. Adored by her seventeen grandchildren: Daniel, Eibhlín, Mollie, Brídín, Éanna, Jack, Elisha, Danielle, Niamh, Dearbhla, Aoibheann, Caoimhe, Philippa, Gearóid, Ronan, Darragh and Cormac. Deeply regretted also by her sons-in-law Michael and Philip; daughters-in-law Libby and Mary; her sister-in-law Rose; her nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces; and her wide circle of extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Slattery will repose at Our Lady Queen of Peace funeral home, Kilcommon Cross, (Route R503) this coming Thursday evening, August 10th, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, followed by removal to the Church of The Little Flower, Curreeny, Lacken, Co. Tipperary.
Funeral Mass will take place at 11.00am on Friday next, with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
