It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 5th August 2017, of Mr Donal Ryan, Innisfallen Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (former proprietor Capital Cinema, Matthew Avenue, Thurles) and formerly of Mullawnbrack, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Mr Ryan passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family. His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan; daughters Joanna and Louise; grandson Daniel; brothers Oliver and Patsy; Joanna’s partner Declan; sisters in law; brothers in law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Wednesday, 9th August, from 5.00pm to 7.30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, 10th August, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

I worked in the Capital cinema for two years and I have very fond memories of Donie and his wonderful family.
