It is with the deepest regret and personal sadness that I report the death yesterday, Sunday 27th November 2016, of Mrs Deirdre Fitzgibbon (née O’Mahoney), Mitchell Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Fitzgibbon passed away while in the loving care of the Matron and Staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
Predeceased by her husband Sean; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving children Liam, Anne (Fogarty), John and Mary (Fyler); brother Seamus; grandchildren; sons-in-law John and Garaint; daughters-in-law Mary and Margaret; nephews; nieces; sisters-in-law; relatives and many good neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Fitzgibbon will repose at Hugh Ryans, Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow, Tuesday 29th November, from 6.00pm to 8.45pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 9.15 pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, 30th November, at 11.00am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
