It is with sadness we learned of the death today, Tuesday 4th October 2016, of Mrs Margaret (Peg) Purcell (née Stakelum), Ard na Croise, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Purcell passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Matron and Staff of the Community Hospital of The Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary; most deeply regretted by her loving daughter Margaret (Quinn); son Pat; daughter-in-law Teresa; sisters Bridget (Ryan) and Lucy (Ryan); brother Gerard; sisters-in-law Nuala and Nancy; grandchildren Philip, John, Philip and Brid; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Purcell will repose at Hugh Ryans’ Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Thursday 6th October, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at Bothar na Naomh, Church, Thurles, at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Friday October 7th at 10.00am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in Ballycahill Cemetery, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
