Death of Sr. Mary (Clement) O’Brien, Stannix House, Thurles

deathIt is with a great personal sadness I learned of the death on Tuesday last, (16th August 2016), of Sister Mary (Clement) O’Brien, Stannix House, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Caherelly, Co. Limerick.

Sr. Mary (Clement) passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Catherine McAuley Nursing Home, Limerick, and her passing is most deeply regretted by her devoted cousins Jim (O’Connell); Willie. J. (Ryan); Moira (Treacy); her Sisters of Mercy Community; relatives; and many loving friends, who were fortunate enough to make her acquaintance.

A woman of remarkable patience, dedication, organisation and understanding; her absence from the Thurles Community now leaves behind an irreplaceable gap in our lives.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Sr. Mary (Clement) will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, today, Thursday, Aug. 18th, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, to arrive later at the Cathedral of The Assumption at 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Friday morning at 11.00am, followed by burial afterwards in Old Pallas Cemetery, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick.
