Thurles Deaths 2nd & 3rd June 2016

MAHER

Death

 It is with great sadness we learned of the death on today, Friday 3rd June 2016, of Mrs Nancy Maher (née Byrne), Athnid, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband Richard, the passing of Mrs Maher is most deeply regretted by her loving son Martin; grandchildren Shane, Emma and Louise; brothers Mickey and Dinny; sister Gertie; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Maher will repose at Ardeen Funeral Home on Saturday evening, 4th June, from 5.00pm to 6.15pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, at 6.45pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, 5th June, at 12.00 noon, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

Note: Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.

HAYDEN

DeathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 2nd June 2016, of M/s Alice Hayden, Sarsfield Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

M/s Hayden passed away while in the loving care of the Matron and Staff of Unit B, Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving nephews; nieces; grandnephews; grandnieces; neighbours; relatives and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of M/s Hayden will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Sunday, 5th June, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles at 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday 6th June at 11.00am, with burial immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

MOONEY

DeathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 2nd June 2016, of  Mr Jeremiah Borgia (Jerry) Mooney, Raheny, Co. Dublin / Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Late of Irish Rail; Mr Mooney passed away peacefully at his home, most sadly missed by his wife Cathleen; children Paul, Ann, Marion, Dara and Rhona; daughter-in-law; sons-in-law; adoring grandchildren; brother Aidan; sister Enid; extended family; relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Mooney will be removed on Saturday to the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11.00am and thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium.

Note: No flowers please, donations if desired, to St Francis Hospice, Raheny. House strictly private.
