It was with great sadness yesterday we reported the death, (Monday June 22nd 2015), of hurling legend Mr Jimmy Doyle, lately of No 2 Church View, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Doyle passed away unexpectedly, pre-deceased by his sister Olive and brother Gary and deeply regretted by his sorrowing family; daughter Janet, sons Gerry, Walter and James, sisters Hannah and Breda, his brother Paddy, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Mr Doyle’s body will repose at Sarsfield Social Centre, Semple Stadium, Thurles tomorrow Wednesday, June 24th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm arriving to the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar-na- Naomh, at 8:30pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 10:00am, with funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
