The show follows the same story line as the hit film which featured Whoopi Goldberg and taking up the leading role will be the very experienced Linda Ryan as Deloris van Cartier. The cast and chorus have been working hard to ensure that they are ready for the opening night, latter a charity night for Thurles Rotary Club’s “Thurles Care Group” charity. Proceeds on the night will go towards the Care Group and Thurles Musical Society is thrilled to be associated with such a worthwhile cause, considering the magnificent work undertaken in the community by the Group.
