Thurles Golf Club

Thurles Golf Club is renowned for the difficulty of its tough and challenging holes that are designed to keep the best of golfers on their toes.
The golf course of Thurles Golf Club at its present location was completed in the 1940s. It has developed a fine reputation for being one of the top parkland courses of Ireland. A new design has been developed for the first nine holes by reputable course architect Mel Flanagan. The purpose of the redesign is to refine the first nine holes even more and make them even more engaging than they already are.

This beautiful eighteen hole parkland golf course is especially praised for its excellent back nine holes. The par 3 holes in particular have the potential to become the fondest memories of many golfers who play here. Other facilities available to the members and visitors are a sauna, two squash courts and a small but well-maintained gymnasium.
